I have always thought there was something a bit eerie about images of uninhabited (or seemingly uninhabited, as in the case of the first photograph) interior spaces, like detached documents of a human's existence. There is just something ghostly about an uninhabited space, especially when that space and image has been frozen in time. (Oh, and aren't the palette and decor amazing?)
