WE ARE MADE OF STAR STUFF

Lately I have been obsessed (really, really obsessed) with watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos on Netflix.  I have always had a fascination with space and space travel.  Growing up in a hometown equipped with an air and space museum and planetarium instilled in me an early love of and certain familiarity with the moon and stars.

The video below discusses the fourth dimension and the nature of an expanding universe, which is one of the parts of the series I found most interesting (yes, the graphics are kind of kooky, as the youtube comments so graciously point out).  It is truly amazing to think of how intricate and vast our universe is, the interconnectedness of it all, and how truly special we are to be a part of it.
